What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in the browser of the person visiting it, to be read again on later visits. They serve to remember something: a preference, a signed-in session, or — in the case of profiling cookies — a person's browsing habits, so as to show them targeted advertising.
The same rules apply to technologies other than cookies that have comparable effects, such as the browser's local storage, tracking pixels and device fingerprinting.

The site consists of static pages: it requires no sign-in, has no restricted area, keeps no preferences between visits and generates no session identifiers. It does not use local storage, session storage or fingerprinting techniques either.
No third-party services
Opening any page of this site involves no communication with anyone else: everything needed to display it — text, images, typefaces, the map of our office — is hosted on our own servers and served from here.
There is no embedded content from external services: no videos, interactive maps, social network widgets or analytics tools. It is precisely elements of this kind that cause your IP address to reach third-party companies without your having asked for anything, and that is why we chose to have none.
Consent
For cookies and tracking technologies that are not necessary to run the site, the law requires prior, freely given, specific and informed consent (article 122 of the Italian Data Protection Code; Italian Data Protection Authority guidelines of 10 June 2021).
Consent cannot be inferred from the fact that a user carries on browsing, scrolls the page or closes a notice: none of these expresses a choice.
Since this site installs no cookies and embeds no one else's services, you are not asked for consent. Should we introduce tools that require it, a notice will appear allowing you to choose before they are activated, with refusal made as easy as acceptance and the option to change your mind at any time.
How to control cookies in your browser
Even though this site uses none, you can manage cookies for every site you visit from your browser settings, where they can be blocked, deleted, or flagged before they are stored. Instructions are in the documentation of the browser you use — Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Safari — on computers as well as on phones and tablets.
Blocking all cookies may stop other sites from working properly; on this one it has no effect at all.
To opt out of behavioural advertising from the main advertising networks there is also a shared tool: youronlinechoices.com. It does not concern this site, but your browser as a whole.

This site contains links to the websites of other companies: those of Gruppo Centro Paghe, our partners and, on the Contact page, a button that opens our office on Google Maps.
A link transmits no data until you open it: until then it is merely text you can click. Once you open it, the privacy notice of the destination site applies, over which Nexaco has no control.
